Heh she would have killed me if I'd taken pictures of her on the floor. It might have been worth it though. We usually smoke after dinner but this was an after lunch one, lunch is a lighter meal. What is a boiled sweet?

Im perfectly ok with her killing you just as long as she tapes it.

And a boiled sweet is the English thus proper and correct way of saying hard candy.

Oh, why is it called a boiled sweet, I mean hard candy is self explanatory. Boiled sweet sounds like something sweet thrown in boiling water. Like a hard boiled egg or something.

The term is a bit redundant as the only way a Brit knows how to cook anything is to throw it in a pot and boil away for 2-4hours.

I ask the same thing when people at the table order them well done, I think putting it with kidneys is probably preferable to that, at least.
