Thanks for the suggestions. Any attempt I make at spanish will necessarily be bad. I took french in HS! Still, I'll attempt what little I know.

Any attempts is better than no attempt and will prolly get some something for at least trying.

Thanks for the advice! I'll least know how to great someone, say thank you, please, etc. I'll also know how to ask in spanish if they speak english. This has worked well in other countries where I didn't speak their language. An attempt and a smile go a long way.
