Sigh...Wild are DONE. Yet ANOTHER shootout loss! WTF do they have to have shootouts now? I hate them.

Me too....rather go back to ties. Unfortunately, the casual half-assed fans the NHL is trying to attract and keep love the stuff.

I could very well argue that they have been done since the day that ESPN had them number 1 in their power rankings. They have been dreadful. There has been quite a bit of discussion as to why they don't put Harding in for the shootouts instead of Backstrom who is awful in the shootout. He has a .462 save percentage in shootouts. Brutal.
