I think it's great. There's an excitement in the air in MSG again. I realize it might be short lived but I think I'm going to enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.

I wonder if that point is lost on people not in the Tri-state area?
The Knicks haven't been relevant in years, and as the Knicks go, so goes "The Garden" Lin may very well be a flash in the pan, but he has brought the entire franchise back to life. He gave the coach back the team, and is allowing D'antoni to run his system. He has his teammates believing in him and themselves, and he has them fighting for a change. I also think "the hype is because he's Asian" is silly! No one here cares about his ethnicity, and New York has had it's fair share of Asian stars come through. They never received any additional hype due to their race, and neither is Lin!
