I didn't see the ending coming the way it went down. Even when Nucky pulled the gun on Jimmy, I thought that he would end up shooting Eli.

I didn't think Nucky would have the guts to shoot him. I thought Eli or Owen Slater would have to do it.

I think that was the point, Nucky has embraced his mobster identity. Fitting too since it was Jimmy who told Nucky in Season 1 "you can't be half a gangster anymore, Nuck."

Me too! The truth is even though Eli pushed for it, it all went down under Jimmy's watch.

Great ending! It should be interesting to see how things unfold next season. I am mostly curious to see where Richard ends up considering his loyalty.
