Never clean your pipe...

...with brebia pipe cleaning solvent while smoking a cigar. I put the stem in my mouth and now all I can smell and taste is minty freshness. I smoked half my cigar before I could start to detect flavors other than mint. This stuff is potent. I might start using it for mouthwash in the morning.

So now I am wondering if this stuff is a mistake? I assume it evaporates, but it would be a real disappointment if all of my tobacco tastes like mint going forward. Did I make a terrible mistake by using this stuff?

I never used anything but the scrubby pipe cleaners and vodka.

pipe cleaners + grain/151 do as good a job as anything and only leave behind happy traces.

I haven't been able to find everclear around here...probably a GOOD thing!

probably not sold in your state... Can't get it in mine, but I'm lucky that the state line is only 45 minutes away.

I need to stock up on it again.... mac's pie shine is calling....

Tom & Jerry pipe cleaners and Grey Goose work for me. Some for the pipe, some for me is my general MO.
