Detroit Tigers outfielder Delmon Young has been scratched from Detroit's lineup for Game 3 against Texas, manager Jim Leyland announced Tuesday.
Andy Dirks will replace Young. Leyland said he does not know what Young's availability will be for the rest of the AL Championship Series.
