I've been using it forever, Dave. Especially for overflow stuff and troop sticks. I have no problems whatsoever if I use Michael's beads or Boveda packs. I can see it going wild if a guy is in a high humidity area with no beads and is constantly opening it, but compared to a cheapo humi I have always thought it a far safer way to store sticks. Think "small coolidor".
Lots of times I use no beads or anything. I just toss in the sticks and a hygro and seal them up. I'll check the tub after a few days and if all is good, I retrieve my hygrometer. Mind ya, they're slap full of cigars, and those cigars are already well conditioned.
The only reason I posted is because I hoped you'd tell me what the instances are where it'd overhumidify, in your experience. I was gonna ask last time I saw this and now it's totally got the best of me, I had to ask.
