The Mets have once again fired popular former hero Mookie Wilson as their first-base coach.

Guess he still needs Bill Buckner on the bag to earn his pay.

These were the two they should have let go...hitting coach Dave Hudgens and pitching coach Dan Warthen. I hate to see Chip Hale leave...but the Mets offered him a contract, he declined and took a post as bench coach for Bob Melvin and the A's.
