I would simply ask them in a very direct but not rude way with a slight hint of sarcasm.

" Thanks for bring this to my attention. Now, how do you purpose I go about performing my daily dutes in the most proficient/efficient manner? Your vast knowledge of our day to day operations never ceases to amaze me. Please teach me so that I too can become a stellar employee such as yourself. "

FYI, The world needs people like that (haters)... That way they only befriend others like them & not normal people like you & I...
