Another question is what size is your humidor? Are we talking a 50 or 100ct desktop or a mini tower?

Also if it's a small humi maybe 2 weeks was more than enough to season the humi.

Make sure the hygro is calibrated and leave it in the humi for 24 hours without the bowl if water. If it still reads around 80 then open the humi for a few hours to air it out and then recheck.

My guess is just over saturated. But you need a calibrated digital hygro to make sure.
