The Tigers traded for Wilson Betemit.
I wasn't all that impressed when he was a Yankee, but he should be an upgrade over the struggling Brandon Inge, who was designated for assignment. Red Sox are in on Beltran but think Mets price too high, Yanks aren't in, Yet  Phils in as well, Mets asking for Domonic Brown Pirates, Braves, Giants also in mix.
