Lots of 100+ here in Kansas City with 52% humidity. Brutal heat.

finally got about 60 degrees in Portland this afternoon. Got 3/4 inch of rain, which is unheard of in July. Drying out now for our 82 degree day tomorrow (can you say "sauna"?). Then back to 70.

We are in a heat wave for the next week. Today was a 106 heat index. Was almost to hot to sit on the deck and burn a stick....almost
