Highlands is more typical albeit overpriced(compared to FL). There is also a shop across main street a few stores down that has cigars. Largest selection is definitely at the wine and cigar place. The one in clayton closed down probably 6 years ago. Used to be next door to a breakfast joint called The Cookie Jar(the co-owner was the banjo player in deliverance). So it just depends on what is closer to you. That is my update from the last time I Was up there which I think was new years. Heading up next weekend for a few days.
