Isn't this a sticky yet!?
![]() ![]() Seriously though, I keep them the way they come. I age alot of my boxes and the cello keeps the different cigars from marrying and preserves the oils longer. Last edited by FriskyDingo; 10-16-2008 at 03:45 PM. |

I always leave mine the way the came as well. I don't really know why I do this. I once asked this question on CS and didn't get a reason that stuck with me.

For long-term storage it's a good idea because it slows the air exchange that much more which, in turn, causes them age better.

I usually leave them in the cello, but sometimes I do clip the excess that folds under the cigar so the cello is closer to flush with the foot of the cigar.

I went though this when i started. Overall I found it is much better to leave it on. Keeps the cigar intact when playing tetris and still allows the smokes to age. Plus its a good way to tel when the cello goes yellow

I keep them the way they come. I used to take it off because I thought they looked better in the humi 'naked'.
