A lot of supermarkets seem to have dropped it. I used to be able to get it at Shaws, Hannaford, Market Basket, etc. Now none carry it at all, don't know why. I have to go to Asian markets. Which is OK, since I go there occasionally for ingredients anyway.

I'm not into the super hot sauces so I stick with some of the more traditional ones in Louisiana.
Tabasco (one of the McIlhennys I think was a general in the Marines during WW2) Crystal. Good but not Tabasco. Trappey's Bull Brand Hot Sauce. What I'm currently using.

I have three different ones I'm using at this time, depending on the mood and food. LA Victoria Salsa Brava (hot, so they say), Louisiana Gold Pepper Sauce (tasty) and then something I picked up in Jamaica, Busha Browne's Pukka Hot Pepper Sauce (rather wicked).
Here is the write up on this stuff - "Busha Browne's Pukka Hot Pepper Sauce, not for the faint hearted, is the ultimate sauce for the devotee of wickedly hot food. Made from fragrant fresh Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers, this sauce has stamina and an outstanding flavour." |

I have a friend in NC play drop shipper for a sauce I get out of VA
It is Virginia Gentleman 90 Bourbon Chipotle Hot Sauce their web site is http://www.ashmanco.com/ I have it shipped to NC and buddy ships to me.... I would love it if they ever are able to ship up here or if they get a distributor in Canada.... something about our silly labling laws and the use of Bourbon in the sauce.... ![]()
