I have had both. My original was wifi only. My new one is 3G. If $129 is no option, get it. Better to have it than not. In my case, I travel and when I do, I can rely on 3G where no wifi. If you don't have plans of using it remotely, save the money.

Also, go with 32G minimum unless you only plan to surf the net.
Right now, I have 46.8G on my 64 available. I have only had it for a couple of weeks and already 16G gone.
