What are your thoughts on Edgar Renteria? Seems like a horrible acquisition for the Reds this year. I'd love to feel how you thought about him last year, Darrell.

Edgar is spotty at best. He spent the last few seasons on and off the DL. He didn't really do anything amazing until the post season. Edgar has one foot out the door, I would not be amazed if this was his last season.

He started last year on fire, but yes, his post season bought him a one year contract. I hope he does well, but if he plays in 80 games I'd be surprised.

Yeah I forgot about the beginning of last season. Probably because it was pretty short lived.

looks like he's gonna be a backup anyway.
