This and the OR Triunfador bands are actually based on the Cuban Rafael Gonzalez band.

Pete does that with a lot of his sticks. The Cabaiguan originals' band is based off the Cuban Quai D'Orsay band.

haha I was about to post that same image.

Also, I was thinking about grabbing a sampler of these since I have yet to try anything from New Havana. However, the description on their website mentions several times that they are "based on the original Tatuaje blend" and the bands certainly bear a resemblance to the original brown label Tats.

Is there any difference between the two flavor wise? If not I'd rather just pick up some Tats from the neighborhood shop instead.

To me these taste just like Noella reservas, just longer. If your local shop has those, buy them all and send me your address
