Anyone else dread the "Christmas Letter" from their friends/families?

It's just the idea behind sending out a generic letter to anybody and everybody that if I really cared enough to hear all about it, I would have known about all of that stuff cuz I would have picked up the phone or hung out with them at some point other than the obligatory family dinners, despite living less than 30 minutes from them.
