It is nice to have a race signed up, forces me to get into the pool and run... I bike regardless, but I have to have a reason to run and swim....

I've found that as I improved on the swim from last year to this year, EVERYTHING got better. My aerobic capacity changed a lot. As soon as I'm done with the base building program I'm on (running), I'll be back in the pool regularly again. Just knowing my goal is a half iron is enough to keep me in the pool in the "offseason".

Who can design it for us? I'm serious! That would be AWESOME. I would totally travel for a herf tri (but not likely to Oki, LOL)!!! Run the race, and then have a big herf afterwards. We can custom design socks on sockguy.com
