Made me think of how much some people rely on their phones/technology, and if I could give up my internet/forums/etc. for at least a week. I mean, who goes to a HERF and sits on their phone the whole time?

Smart phones are the biggest hindrance of quality face time that we have today. My girlfriend and I have made a rule that there is no texting/email checking/etc when we're enjoying a meal together. It's nice to stop for a little while, ignore the the digital world, and enjoy the personal world that's right in front of your face that usually gets forgotten these days.
