Fort Polk

Sadly there is not a lot of anything near Ft. Polk. Now granted, I have been out of LA for many,
many years, but wow, talk about bleak back when. You'd do better with mail order, I'm afraid.
I do hope someone who isn't actually F.O.S. can help you out.

OLS is pretty much dead on. I was there back in 1997, so its been a while and it may have changed since then.

There was a decent BBQ joint out that way called Hickory Smokehouse out by DeRidder but that was about it. Not much of anything as I recall but then I only got off post like twice the whole time I was there.
