I thought this thread was going to be about my junk. J/K Is that your buddy in the photo or did he get the photo from someone else? Just curious as I am wondering if it is a really good chop. Never thought a rattler could get that large unless a rattle snake and a Boa or something mated and created this monster.

Its an optical allusion. He is holding the snake close to the camera with a pitch fork or something with a long handle, therefore it looks HUGE!

But that is a big damn snake!

I don't know about that, Snopes says that's what they did here: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals...tler.asp#photo and that they average 5.5 feet and the biggest might approach 8 feet. Either way, it's still a very large specimen.
