No vents in the shelves, there solid spanish cedar purchased from a local lumber yard. I've put beads on the different shelves, and havent had any problems with air circulation, I do have a couple Oust fans that moves things a little.

Someone mentioned a Vino, they are very nice, and if you think high temperatures could be a problem it might be a good option.
