Default Re: You're rich? Now what?

Who hasn't daydreamed about this? I've read of so many people upon winning lotteries whose life went to **** because of their winning a ton of money. I'd never let anyone know I won anything just so I could keep my anonymity and live my life in a comfortable way. Money changes peoples perception of everything and even family members. Look what happens when people die and there is a will left,,families are destroyed over money and what is supposedly left to others.

The wife and played this out one day and we came to the conclusion that we would do things without others knowing about it...i.e. paying off family mortgages, cars, without them knowing about it. We would of course give 50% to those places that help others,,giving back is what keeps you grounded. We would keep back $1,000,000 for us and spend the rest on making other lives better. There is a ton of things you can do to make life better for those who don't have as much. This would be so much better than buying airplanes, mansions, cars and other things that will never fill the whole in your life.
