My wife drives a 2012 Highlander Limited. It has a nice smooth ride and gets 20-21 mpg with mixed city/highway driving. We didn't look at the Edge because she wanted a 3rd row seat, but I am a Ford man otherwise. She didn't even look at the Explorers because she doesn't like the way mine rides.
