Turdukin with southern dressing and candied sweet potatos.
Right now I am enjoying Bloody Bulls while the cooking is taking place. Hopefully it willl warm up enough to enjoy an EPC later in the afternoon. ![]() Merry Christmas to All!

Well ... I've decided to do a traditional Puerto Rican holiday dinner. Given that it's the first time that I've done this myself, it's been a three-day process. Four main dishes, plus dessert:
Pork shoulder picnic cut ![]() Seasoned ![]() Pasteles ![]() What they look like cooked (this was a test run yesterday) ![]() Bizcocho de ron ![]() The pork is cooking right now (probably 3-4 hours left) and I'll do the rice and bean dishes closer to dinner time. I LOVE this kind of food!!!!! |

I made a perfect Prime Rib. Cooked it at 325 degrees until the internal temp reached 115.

We did the traditional turkey this year with all the trimmings, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream for desert. Along with a couple bottles of fine wine, a good time was had by all, and the best part - leftovers!!
