Gyms as a whole need to calm down on the stereotype I think. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Planet Fitness is a joke. They have a "Free Pizza day" on Fridays.

Man, that's funny.

It's almost a Police Siren sound, and the light looks like the Old School type you'd see in Dragnet. I'll take a picture of it whenever we go back there. We're not loud at all, but if they ever say anything to us we're canceling out our memberships and leaving.

There's no energy in the weight area in gyms now. No chalk in the air or plates clanking. Seeing people go for max and just show some enthusiasm before their set. Actually, I have fallen out of favor of weightlifting as it is dull at the gym. It's hard to get excited when no one else is.

Pilates is most of gym time and a good use of it.

Chalk! Yes!

Used to have the break open "smelling salts" for right before a heavy set of squats.

100 rubber plates.

Squat stands that looked like two huge tire jacks.

Now I am getting nostalgic....

One of the biggest pet peeves of mine is not reracking your weights. The weights looked like someone dropped a bomb all over the place.

Did chest today, felt really nice. Went solo, so couldn't go as heavy as I wanted to but still had some nice results.

Incline db 4x8 (got it up to 95lb)
Flat db flys 4x7
Weighted dips 3x8
Hammer strength presses 4x5 with drops sets

Finished off with some abs

Don't like that one at all. Especially dumbbells. Having to hunt for the other dumbbell is a waste of energy. I reall dislike when people who work at a gym sitting on their rears are not on the floor reracking weights.

Good morning lifters:ze

Made damned sure I walked my radio in from the patio this morning prior to working out:tu

Standing reverse curls x5/8reps
Standing bicep curls x5/8reps
Standing french press x5/8reps

Standing upright row x5/8reps
Standing press x5/8reps

Bumped the Assault up to 30g and I thinks that's the ticket. Could probably add an additional 5 lbs to the french press, but will wait until next week...

Solid heavy back workout yesterday and chest today. Hoping I still have a little juice left for legs and arms tomorrow.

Had a great back day yesterday. Then Christos wanted a cigar....so I may of had a couple breakfast stouts while I waited for him to get there...then may of also had some wine with the cigar. I'm so not disciplined.

Legs today... It was fun. Nice to be back in a gym where I didn't have to walk around finding matching dbs.

Even though I was gone all last week, still managed to get in the gym.

Hack squats 5x8
Squats 6x8
Single leg extensions ---- walking lunges 3x10
Seated leg curls 4x10
