Been on a peanut butter/oatmeal kick this week for breakfast. Mix in one serving of crunchy peanut butter to a cup of prepared oatmeal, along with some cinnamon, a packet of splenda and a pinch of salt. Mix it all up.

minus three lbs this past week. Back in the right direction. My goal to be under 300 for the SH is not going to happen, but I'll be within 5 lbs of that goal, so I can't complain too bitterly. 250 by early April for my annual is my next goal- doable methinks.

Re: Losing Weight with Starscream

I'm already back to 196.2 this morning.
I put in a heck of a bunch of eating time on this vacation in order to push myself up to 202. It kinda gave me pause, and made me realize how often/how much time I had to have been spending in order to keep my weight up at 250.
I should start a new all-you-can-eat diet where you can eat all you can stuff in your hole for x minutes at a time for x minutes a day, then you decrease that number gradually for over a period of time till you're eating normally. :D

211.8 this morning. That's nearly 30% weight loss since the start.

195.4 this morning. I'm right back where I started aside from a couple glances at 193. Now, hopefully I can start picking my way back downward. :tu

:salute: all!
Wow, it's been a while since I checked in here and it shows. I've basically done nothing for the past three weeks and am up about 6 pounds. I start back to work in a week, so I need to get my butt in gear for it. Gonna get in a workout today for sure. I have let myself go for a bit and have let myself down, but vacation is almost over. Time to get motivated.

one more notch and I get to go belt shopping! :noon

You can do like me and just punch new holes in your belt. I always feel good when I have to punch a new hole.

Bob! You are a friggin' machine brother! Keep up the good work!:tu

Food cravings are a thing of the past for me, which I'm surprised about.
Well, except for that whole ice cream thing a week or so back :r

Way to go! My way of beating the dessert cravings is to freeze peeled banannas and chuck them in the blender with a little vanilla, some soymilk, some water, a tiny bit of cocoa powder + cinnamon and blend to a milkshake like consistency. Often I will chuck in some pineapple, misc fruit, or berries. I picked up some greek yogurt the other day, I think I will incorporate some this weekend.

I've been doing something similar for breakfast the last couple of days. 1 cup skim milk, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, creatine, 4 oz cottage cheese, two teaspoons ground flax seed, one banana, and a handful of ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Makes a filling shake with loads of protein, fiber and good fats. I did a scoop of peanut butter one day too.

Lisa told me this morning "You are Soooo skinny."
I'm not sure if that's good or bad. :D

another new low today, but not a significant number.

I think the walks are working - went on 2 walks yesterday morning actually.

Congrats Myles. Any number going down is a good thing.

I'm thinking the 5K run I signed up for in October shouldn't be too bad. Did 3.36 miles last night in 34:26. That's a 10:15 mi/min pace. I'm hoping to be under 10:00 come race time. My legs are sure telling me about it today though.
