See I was born in 1980 and would like to be not considered GenY so I was trying to say: I would like to vote that Generation Y cover from 1981-2010 (instead of 1980-2010) so I would not be included in the often accurate depiction of the OP definitions! Sorry for the confusion!

I have a job, have my own place, pay my own bills ( have since i was 15), was never on my parents car insurance.

All of these things have made me a much stronger person, I do feel bad for those other kids that will fall flat on their face when everything is taken away from them. They will have a hard time making ends meet.

I was born in the late 80's but my parents are baby boomers and I think that's a contributing factor to my outcome. I didn't have anything handed to me with the exception of a good @ss kicking when I stepped out of line, and it taught me to be self reliant and resourceful. I got job, moved out and got married. I don't ask my parents for anything, work 60+ hrs a week and pay my own damn bills. I really have a hard time not yelling at many of my "peers", for being entitled little sh*ts.
