Any FNM fans running about here? The rumour mill has spit out a little snippet - FAITH NO MORE ARE REFORMING! Anyone else felling a tad giddy, or is it just me?

That would be pretty damned close to the coolest thing ever. Patton is a genius.

I love Faith No More. I'm glad the Courtney Love thing never worked out.

Nice, would be fun to listen to again. Sadly, I left all my FNM albums in england and have yet to have them shipped over.

I like a few of their songs. My co-worker loves the band. He has like every CD Mike Patton has ever been on.

I think that would be awesome. I have always been a FNM fan and I always will.
A lot of people judge them off of the "Epic" album (and especially off of the song "falling to pieces"), but I have to say the albums following "Epic" are better and unique in their own way. Not that I didn't like "Epic" I thought it was a great album, I just think there are much better songs on that album then "falling to pieces".
So, if your reference to FNM is "falling to pieces" you really have got to listen to the rest of the album and the rest of their catalog.

Side not: Has anyone checked out Patton's ablum "Pranzo Oltranzista"? That is one strange album. So strange that I can't help but like it!!

and don't judge them on their Commodores cover either.

Don't hate me, but I actually liked the Commordores/Lionel Richie cover of "Easy". I also loved the cover of that EP, you know, the Rhinos having relations.:r:r

That makes me happy. Now, if we can just get Screaming Trees back together, I'll be positively giddy.

I picked up a new copy of Epic about 6 months ago. I think their cover of War Pigs is amazing. I always thought they were ahead of their time when they first came out. I'd love to see what they come out with now.

I love them. One of the best bands to come out of the 90's. I would love to see them come back with some new material.

I had heard rumors, but it's great to hear some confirmation. FNM is one of my all time favorite bands, and one I never got to see live. Mike Patton is a mad genius, and one of the best voices in muisc (when he wants to be )

I wonder if Jim Martin will be part of the reunion? I know he was not on the best terms with the rest of the band. I really liked the albums after he left, but it just wasn't the same.

Angel Dust has been in heavy rotation in my play list lately. That album was their peak IMHO.

In the spirit of the impending reunion, here is a long lost video I found recently for one of my favorite tracks.

Everythings Ruined (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5irHyoRNcRY)

Cheesy, low budget, blue screen fun! I don't think this one got much airplay back in the day.

God I love FTM... that video was great (that guitarist always reminded me of Tommy Chong)... I've never seen it before. I also agree that Angel Dust was their best. I still listen to that cd. Patton's voice is fookin' amazing!

While only European dates are confirmed, hopefully they will be playing the States.

Jim Martin will not be part of the reunion. I listen to some Mike Patton project everyday: Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Peeping Tom, Fantomas, Tomahawk.

One of the best bands to come out of the 90's.

them, Urban Dance Squad, Living Colour, Fishbone, Bad Brains. All band that were ahead of their time and paved the way for a lot of the 'nu metal' and crossover bands that hit the hitparades from early 2000 till now.

Although no nu metal band has done anything close to the greatness of "Angel Dust".
