Wow! Not the best cigar I've ever smoked, but a great experience nonetheless. Very potent! I feel dizzy right now. Very cedary, nutty, and a slight bit of pepper and sweetness.
I definitely prefer high end Padrons and Illusiones to this stick, but it was very good!:tu If you've never tried an Opus, make sure you do at some point.
Not sure what type it was. Petite corona size-ish and cedar wrapped with a red ribbon on the foot.

I don't normally smoke smaller ring cigars, so it was good that he gifted me it otherwise I probably would have never tried one.

They were nice Now i'm not a cigar aficionado yet but it tasted sweet and couldn't put it down. Some day my pallet will be there and I can tell all the distinct flavors but fopr now I will just enjoy the good tasting tobacco

An Arturo Fuente Rosado - I am assuming the new Rosado line, since I hadn't seen this one before. I think it was the R52. Thanks Corey! Much appreciated.
Yes, some slight spice, a bit sweet, some cedar, as I think about it in retrospect, I believe that the sweetness and nut could be combined to "pecan." I know, "never had that in a cigar before," but that is what I would call it.
Thanks again, Corey.

I had a dark mysterious cigar torpedo with veins oily leaves and tasted great thanks to a bomb Revsmoke gave me He tole me the name then and today but my memory was boggled after a busy day. Still working on the pallet and drank 44 oz of water while smoking it and was grateful when he allowed me to release the water when i got to his place. Darn great smoke with a flavor i recognize but can't place word for it . smelt great and had great ash, I had to drive the work van back to town with the windows down. Would smoke 1 again.

2 yesetrday and both from Savvy.
first was a Qd O with coffee in the am that paired well. nice nutty flavors with some vanilla and other bean flavors. also some sourness that was not completely unpleasant but I find it to be in all the QdO's I have had. not a bad smoke at all.
second was a Tat T110 paired with some Laphroiag (sp?) after a Brisket and pulled chiken dinner. It was strong and earthy with a smokey coal like flavor. again, not unpleasant and very rich. of course there was some coffee, cocoa, and spices as well.
Thanks Savvy

I had a great Cigar last night thanks to Ismith75. He sent me a great looking starter pack to, well get me started. I knew we were going to a fancy Italian restaurant last night for my brothers birthday, so I spent a good half a day deciding which cigar to bring, finally decided on the Padilla Habano. It was a great smoke we all shared it walking around the streets, talking, tacking turns, and just enjoying life. Can't thank you enough Ismith75!
I really like smells, even though I'm not a wine drinker I like to try and name the fragrances, and while I don't know too many common cigar terms, the smoke on this one started out very nice best way I could describe it was like a hazelnut covered in leather, it got a little less obvious later on, but fine smoke all the way. Would definitely smoke this cigar again.

Had another great cigar from Ismith75. This time it was a Repasado 96 Connecticut, his golfing cigar. I had a couple friends back for in town for the holidays, so we sat outside a local coffee get together spot and shared it, they're more cigarette people, but I shared what little knowledge I have, and i think they enjoyed the experience and were interested in smoking some more cigars in the future. We're all a little sick out here, first big snow and we all have stuffy noses and coughs so my olfactory senses weren't up to par, but I really enjoyed this smoke. It started out quite smooth with no particularly distinguishable taste and a nice warm feeling on the tongue. Later down the cigar started to have a real nice oak taste especially right after blowing the smoke out, and after that an almost rose or cherry wood / branch taste. We smoked it almost to the end, where it heated up a bit, this one packed a big nicotine hit and I don't drink as much coffee as used to so after our get together I was a little light footed, but an altogether memorable smoke and time. Would definitely suggest this cigar and wouldn't mind keeping a couple in my coolidor, it's a nice one to share if you aren't a heavy cigar smoker because it's quite big and smokes for a while. All in all many thanks to Ismith75 and I look forward to smoking another from the great selection he sent me.

I had my first cigar from Kelmac07 last night. It was a Reserva Miraflor. Me and my brother shared this one after a nice soak at a fairly near by hot springs, and some not "too" shabby Mexican food. We sat outside by a fire pit and had some real nice conversation. This cigar maintained a very very consistent pepper taste, but the intensity and variety of the pepper changed throughout the smoke. This one started out as whole black pepper corns and very thin sheets of wood maybe ceder or pine. A little later down the tastes changed places the pepper took a little bit of a back seat and the wood grew into a (don't laugh) burning forest note. After the second half the pepper came back with a vengeance as crushed red and black pepper corns shortly after this I started to get a sleight chocolate note, but was unable to really name it properly I was thinking something like a very very peppery hot chocolate with a little chili, but my brother pinned it down perfectly with Molé (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mole_%28sauce%29). all in all a very nice smoke, I don't know about an every dayer, but after a Steak au poivre one of these would be amazing!
Many Thanks Kelmac07!
