Smoked one of my all-time top 10 cigars last night, Volfan managed to make the mistake of showing me a Diplomaticos No.4,
while which I have none of my own, I still consider to be one of the top 10 smokes you can get in the world. Perfectly
perfumed and floral, nice notes of vanilla and sweet spices, went OUT a lot, but I was talking a lot, too. Came and met
me in Memphis. Nice to finally meet VOLFAN, and thanks for the great smoke. Wish I was still buying, cause I'd get about

Thanks to Matt (OHRD) and his sampler madness I really enjoyed a Joya de Nicaragua cabinetta serie. I was afraid the two wrappers were a gimmick to fancy up a poor cigar but I should have known better. Excellent creamy and flavorful mild/med smoke.

Yes, that is a corn on the cob holder utilized to get every last puff of goodness from those stogies. And it works very well for that purpose. Thanks to EricF also for the new cutter and cigar rest. I had an aged Nic 3000 to compare to a fresh one yesterday thanks to Mac!
Thanks brother it was awesome to smoke those back to back.
They definitly tasted different. The aged one was much smoother and mellow, the fresh one had a little bit of pepper in the first third and then mellowed out.
I really can't say I liked one better than the other, but I don't think many will last long enough in my humidor to try this experiment again!
