I started to watch the new 3:10 to Yuma earlier tonight, BUT............

Had the DVR replaced Monday for one that would not freeze up and need hard resets (pain in the arse). The "techs" sent to replace it hooked everything back up, assuring me they did it right. Found out that night they muffed the connection to my sound system. Found out this evening they muffed the DVD connection in the loop. Probably also screwed up the VCR connection also. Gotta tear it all out tomorrow and redo all the connections.

I just signed up with NetFlix so I'm catching up on some movies I missed.

Tonight's selection: Lock, Stock, & 2 Smoking Barrels
Yes, I chose it for Jason Statham, but after watching it, it's got so much more to offer. Great movie!!

I'll be checking this thread for recommendations, so don't just post the name. Please give some feedback, too.

last movie i watched was indiana jones on blu ray. i thought it was okay. the CGI was too over the top and too many of the scenes were just unrealistic. they should have stuck with the old style and not used CGI in the film.

shia swinging through the trees with the monkeys was just retarded. that whole scene would have been cooler if it was really a chase like they did in the third with the tank and indiana trying to recover his dad.

Home of the brave

I am against the war in Iraq, I have always been and will always be. I think this war was started based on false information and that the US government knew the information was false, but Bush wanted to finish what his father couldn't and because of the oil. But, even though I am against the war, I have always had respect for the soldiers who are send there and fight a war they didnt' start. I met some deployed soldiers through CS and CA like Tobii, JK5, Snkbyt, Skills, Sergeant Smokey, Icantbejon, Leasingthisspace, BigBruge, Avi8tor and more, I even met JK5 and his battle buddy Cherie in person on the Amsterdam herf and I call some of those people my friends. This movie made me respect the guys and girls over there even more, they see things that most others will never see and once they get back they have to deal and cope with their experiences in a world that doesn't understand what they have been trough. For some that will be a bigger battle then the war itself. I wish all of them a safe homecoming and understanding from the rest of society, even from the people who, like me, oppose to the war.

Yes, because we all know what a sweet dictator Saddam was. He only tested nerve gas (mustard gas) on his own citizens. Mass genocide was going on in Iraq and it had to be stopped.
