So the wife said how great it would be to get one of those wine of the month club things for Christmas...does anyone have any recommendations?

I would try and find a local wine merchant that can put together a monthly wine "club" that caters to your tastes or find a vinyard you love and join their wine of the month club.

When I was a wino, I loved the program at Ridge Vineyards.

My Wife belongs to two clubs, one is called Napa Valley and the other one is called the WSJ wine club. She really enjoys the latter the most. Let me know if you need more info.

They're never a good value.
