Not normally into pairing cigars with wine, but this Bogle Phantom was fat and juicy, and the Hoyo du Roi I paired it with was raisin sweet with some nice spice. Worked out pretty well!

Both were gifts from my in-laws for Father's Day.
Great combo, the Jolly Pumpkin Brewery is known for its distinctive "sour" taste, and I find their beers pair remarkably well with a cigar. This was an absolutely delicious chocolate fest and I can't think of a better beer to pair with the cigar.

Today I had a perfect pair: La Flor Dominicana Reserva Especial El Jocko Maduro and a Black Boss Porter (my first of this brand)!!!

The porter was off the hook as well as the cigar!!! The porter had an unsweetened licorice background with hints of coffee, and a smokey flavor!!! The cigar was all leather and coffee!!!

My in-laws live in Ann Arbor, so they pick me up a couple bottles when they visit. I highly recommend the Dark Dawn Stout; best Imperial I've had.

honestly my tastes are not that developed yet.
I haven't had a cigar and a beer yet that wasn't a great pair (Except for the Holy Grail/Bolivar).
I think the beer really helped me get through the first third of the stick when it was a bit too peppery for my taste and then it was smooth sailing. So it was a great pair for me.

Can't wait to pair something with a Jolly Pumpkin beverage.

Lol. Good one. It's some bamboo roll I put on the porch rails to minimize sun a little. The Black Lager and Lot 23 was good. My favorite by far is the Habano and Bonfire though. Great combo.

Lakefront's "Dan Made A: Baltic Porter" and a RP Evolution.

I generally am more of an IPA guy, but it must be the cold weather pulling me toward the darker stuff lately. This porter is freaking good, and the Evolution was a nice surprise, pretty damn tasty; getting some mild leather notes and carmely flavors. Wasn't expecting much from it, got a fiver of it a couple of months ago.

I don't remember who recommended it, but cream soda is _awesome_ with a cigar. Enjoying the Indian Tabac Maduro Tomahawk that I got in a NST from Kelmac with a diet A&W cream soda. Just great together (and I'm not that big of a cream soda fan)!

Viaje Satori chocolate, coffee, pepper, and baking spice. Very nice with a good sized N-kick

The two went together very enjoyably. Drinking the beer soon after exhaling the smoke made my tongue very tingly, it really accentuated the pepper & spice.
