Randy Johnson is the guy I think of when I think of the best power pitcher in my time. The Rocket would be second.

Only used it today, but no blackouts so far. I don't think they black out the radio feed, but I could be wrong. I caught the Reds/Pirates game, Boston/Anaheim game, Atlanta/Washington game, and the Cubs/Brewers game all today with no problem. I cut the sound off the tv for the Boston game and the Atlanta game and listened to the radio.

No radio stations in my area have MLB games. I do get all the NASCAR races on the radio though. I'd rather pay the 14.95 a yr for the radio broadcast verses the $70+ and have to deal w/ constant blackouts. Audio and the Gameday pitch by pitch coverage go great together.

I figured a way to get around the blackouts if I really wanted it bad enough. I would have my brother in Indiana pay for it using his address and then use an internet IP redirect to get around the local IP block. Just isn't worth all the trouble though.

But the networks only are allowed an allotted amount of time per game. there were multiple games that I was not able to see the end of due to NFL pulling the plug on them. You would think that if CBS or FOX carries a game, then they would be able to carry it for its entirety.

new report has my favorite scum bag A Fraud doing roids in High School as well as in 2004 with the Yankees. In addition it was reported he tipped pitches to friendly opponents in the hopes they would return the favor to him when he was struggling in blowout games to pad his stats and raise his BA. Niiice. I hope this is true to further my hatred for the guy.

Nice, the Twins beat up the Royals Friday night.

Damn happy to see Mauer back behind the plate.

LOL, his first at bat and first swing turned in to a very nice home run.

Gonna be rained out. It's been wet all day yesterday and today. They might be able to get tomorrow's game in, current forecast is for it to stop tomorrow, early afternoon. Only a 2 game series.

Ya gotta love our goofy broadcaster Bert Blyleven for following through on his bet to eat 2 nightcrawlers for Parkinsons research. I last heard that they had around $15000 in donations.

Bert is awesome.

How about Colon last night? He actually looked pretty good from the few highlights I saw. A lot better then his last outing.
