We've got a herf coming up, and I just realized I still haven't picked up a travel humi. What brand do you like, and why?

6 of one - half a dozen of the other.... which ever is cheaper. I have had both - no diff as far as I can tell. Just go at least 18 ct or larger.

My vote is Cigar Caddy. I own 3 (5-count, 18-count, and a 30-count). I find the construction of the Cigar Caddy to be superior.

I like the Cigar Caddy 18 with Ron's upgraded foam trays... you can fit 4 of the Robusto's in there and hold 32... :D

I did a little research for you. Here is the only caddy you will ever need: 144 (http://www.thesherman.com/cigartravelhumidor144model.html)

I ordered this one based on a BOTls recommendation:
1779

It should hold plenty for a weekend herf!!

SoCal or The Shack - I'm not so sure. :D

That GSI case is bigger than mine. You should probably be able to easily fit more than 30 sticks in there. When you fill it up let me know how much it holds (as I am in the market for another GSI case soon, as well).

Cheers

So I'm thinking Cigar Caddy so far. Is there a member or vendor here who sells them? I'd rather throw some money at a CA member, if I can.

Thanks for the link. That 30-count is cheaper than most places have the 18. So this is a CA vendor or member?

I have a 5 and an 18 ct. cigar caddy and a 15 ct. herf-a-dor. i like both brands, but my 18 ct. caddy was my first travel humi and is still my favorite. remove some of the padding and i can easily fit in 24+ smokes.

I just ordered a 30ct from riverfrontgifts. They shipped really quick. I never got a DC number from them, but it showed up really fast. I ended up calling them to place my order because I couldn't tell how much shipping would be before giving them my credit card. (it was $9).

I couldn't recommend another travel humi besides Cigar Caddy... Built tougher than you will ever need, available replacement parts, & Jamie (the owner) is one hell of a generous BOTL. My only advice is to go big! I own & use the 30ct, 15ct, 10ct, 5ct, 2ct...

cigarmony.com is a CA member . He's got current deals going on now for a 10% discount if your interested . I have a otter box 10 ct. and a 15 ct. herf-a-dor , both work very well but are too small for vacation and herfing in my opinion . Good luck with your choice . :usa

I was considering ordering from them, but I have no idea why they "require" my license info to place an order.

I gotta give props to Mark at cigarmony.com. I went ahead and ordered from him, since I've ordered from him previously and had no issues. After I placed my order, I went back to look at the specs on the 30-count and noticed it was out of stock. I fired off an e-mail to Mark asking whether he would have them back in stock in time for our upcoming Upstate NY herf. Mark replied back within 5 minutes that I had actually got the last 30-count he had in stock, and it would be shipping out ASAP. Help me bump his rep, great customer service! :ss
