Nah, that's the studio we recorded our EP at. Such a nice place! I was blown away when I heard that finished product.
I have a Tascam something or other and I just use Superior Drummer and Metal Foundry for my shindigs, when I'm recording at home

Still cranking Eric Church - Springsteen!!
I put together a nice collection of the first dozen or so Bowie records. Through Scary Monsters, 1980.
I had never paid much attention to David Bowie when he was big, and the more I hear, now 30+ years
later, the more I really like. Not the 80s stuff, the essential years stuff.
I like it.

This is his latest CD. I usually prefer his live stuff anyway - but on a precursory listen while at work I'm not a fan. I've already got my ticket for his show in Atlanta in August, though. So I'd better grow to like it :r

The Ghost Inside is one of my favorite bands right now. There's a ton of great melody in their stuff and that makes it so interesting. Plus Johnny Vigils vocals are great.

Hundredth is like the same melodic take on old hardcore that TGI does, but it's much more raw and, I think, much more emotional.
Chads lyrics are so relateable (especially this song) and his delivery is great.
Another amazing live band, sadly they've never toured togther :sh

That's not hard when you go through a singer a year.... seriously, their band line up changes are comical. I liked the guy from their "That Within Blood Ill-Tempered" CD better
Wikipedia tells me his name is Geert van der Velde. I knew it was something like that...
EDIT: HOLY CRAP!!! Geert started a new band that is 1,000,000,000% different. Just found this out on Wikipedia...

That's funny you mention this song. My gf last night asks me, "remember that song from the 90's, goes "laa laa lala laaa..." or something like that? It was a punk type of song."
It took me a second, then I remembered. She was WAY off on the intro part, but this was the song she was referring to. Led us onto a youtube playlist that included other offspring songs, rancid, nofx, operation ivy, etc. Good times.
Was just listening to Rod Stewart on the work radio, so now I brought up iTunes and am listening to G. Love.

It was freaking awesome. My neck is sore, my feet hurt from jumping all night, and my ears rang until noon today. They played nearly every song I was hoping they would (Beggars, Daedalus, Deadbolt, Yellow Belly, Anthology, Words in the Water, Cold Cash and Colder Hearts, Stare at the Sun, The Artist in the Ambulance) - the only one I REALLY missed was Doublespeak. But still - it was a good show. Probably the only one of their's I'll ever get to see :(
"O, Brother" and "Animals As Leaders" were their opening acts. "Animals as Leaders" is THE most technically skilled band that I've seen live. Truly astounding. I knew Tosin Abasi was a beast - I wasn't aware how skilled their drummer is.

Such a solid band
For sure, man. They put our records that are all great. I mean, it does lack in distinction, sometimes it's the same melody and what not...but when I want heavy, unrelenting power I got For Today.
They are insane live. The first time I ever made someone bleed was at a For Today show...I hit that kid so hard...by accident...:gary
