Such a great album. I saw them 5 or 6 years ago and never understood why they never got the mass market appeal. They might have just been unlucky with their timing straddling the rap-rock and screamo movements - neither of which they fit into but pigeonholes being what they are...

Had a huge music shift this last couple of years. I still dig what I dug, but I listen to A LOT of K-Love now.
Mike McConnell left WLW, so they have nothing for me now, Boortz is a self involved egoist when he isn't making all the sense in the world and Limbaugh hasn't said anything new in a year.
Tool hasn't put out an album in almost 5 years. Today's music just doesn't do it for me, hip hop and the new teen pop is ridiculous and as bad as the crap on TV these days.
One of the few current bands I continue to enjoy is Foo Fighters. Can't get enough of them!
So, while driving with the wife or kid, its K-Love when we can get a station, and working at home its now K-Love instead of talk radio.
Funny how things change!

Anatomy lecture on the axial musculature system. Good stuff.
I found it most interesting that axial muscles used for oscillatory swimming are found not only in fish and other vertebrates but also in some protochordates and invertebrates. Chaetognaths have unsegmented locomotor musculature with some unusual features, but larvacean tunicates and the tadpole larvae of ascidians show the simplest variant of the chordate segmented axial muscle arrangement for flexing a notochordal column, where all muscle cells along one side are electrically coupled. With amphioxus, the basic fish myotomal layout is established, with two main fibre types probably used for different patterns of swimming (as in fish).
