I drank these three beers last night.

Czechvar Pilsner - C+. I would drink this again. For the price it was a good pick-up.

Shipyard IPA - C-/D. Very disappointed in this one. Shipyard usually puts out solid beers. This one just missed. I will not seek it out again as there are way too many IPA's that are much better. I do enjoy Shipyard Pumpkin.

Genesee Cream Ale
- D/F - Was not really drinkable. It was my first one and for me it tasted like Sweet/Creamed Corn. I almost poured it down the drain but I managed to choke it down.

Some of this

I really enjoy Harpoon IPA, so I was expecting great things from this. Unfortunately, it's another typical "let's see how much malt & hops we can throw together" type of brew, without much character. Disappointing, especially at $11/4pk.

Tried an Abita Turbodog tonight. Not bad, tasted a lot like a Brooklyn chocolate stout.

I can respect that...

If it is good, drink it!! Forget what the haters say. I love me some high priced Crafts but I also enjoy "slumming" with the Big Brews...Fat Tire, Blue Moon...Give me some!!!

When it is all said and done my first love of beer was Bud Light...I hate when people say they started drinking Dog Fish Head and never looked back...that is a lie...

99.9 % of us started with the Big Brews (Bud, Coors, Miller)...

I was browsing around a local wine market that has a corner reserved for imports and craft beers. My finds:

Rouge XS Imperial Stout 2008
Two bottles of Werewolf (Lithuanian Beer)
and in anticipation of the coming holidays, 1 bottle of Criminally Bad Elf
