Default don lucas cigar factory

First things first.. I am extremely new to the wonderful world of cigars .
With that said, here's my question. I just returned home from the Dominican republic.
While there I toured the don Lucas cigar factory and picked up some of their medium body cigars. Has anyone toured there or smoked these cigars . Just wondering.

I have three in my humi that a friend gave me from his recent trip to the DR. I almost smoked one the other day but chose a LFD chiselito instead.

I really enjoyed them. But haven't smoked many others to compare them with. Btw. I met a couple from Michigan at the factory. I didn't catch there names but that's how I found out about this great site.

Glad you found the site I bought a bundle of the mediums and a bundle of the milds, that the wife liked. I was actually surprised as good as they were. Careful on this site, you will be sliding down the slope very quickly. In fact, send me your address via pm and I'll send you a sampler

Very nice looking place there.

Is this in Santo Domingo or maybe Casa del Campo?

""Careful on this site, you will be sliding down the slope very quickly. ""
reminds me of the scene in the john wayne movie Mclintock, where they are all fighting and sliding down into the mudhole, climbing up and sliding down again..

Amen to that....ive been here less than a month and spend way too much time here....eveytime my wife walks into the room and sees me on this site she just sighs and leaves....

havent heard of that cigar but looks interesting....

It really was nice. Nice sized walk-in Humi and Rum sellection upstairs and a large store downstairs.

Brought home a few different Dominican Rums as well.

Rums are great... Very Sweet and Smooth.

Brought home three different types. Aged 8 & 10 years. Plus the offical drink of the island..."MAMAJUNA" Basically a mixture of herbs, dark rum, red wine, and honey. They refer to it as "Dominican Viagra"
