Default 601 Red Robusto

Date: 3/5/09

Cigar: 601 Red Robusto (5 x 50)

Cost: Don't remember

Drink: Coca-Cola (the best cola)

Appearance: This has a Habano wrapper on it. The wrapper was silky. The appearance gets a 9/10 .

Taste of the cigar: This cigar is peppery with some sweetness to it. I also picked up a slight touch of cocoa.

Construction: Held an average ash. The draw was a little loose, but I find this with the entire 601 line. I don't mind this. The cigar required no touchups even with heavy winds.

Strength: This was a medium-full cigar.

Summary: This cigar was decent. I found it kind of one-dimensional. I prefer the 601 Blue. I give it a 7.9/10.

I really like the Reds. It's the only 601 I've had so I'm looking forward to a Blue I just picked up in a pass to compare the two.

Thanks for the review

^^^ I am totally opposite, I think the blue and green are unreal, and don't care for the red much at all.

Funny, I found mine to be very complex. Nice review though.
