Default Help me spend my CI gift card.

So it turns out that my wife loves me and she gave me a $100 gift card to CI. I am going to take a trip to their superstore in PA this weekend. Problem is I can't decide what to get. I have been on a Tat buying spree lately so I would like to grab a box of something else.

These boxes are on the short list.

-San Cristobal Francisco
-A. Fuente Short Story
-Illusione ~mk~
-La Aroma de Cuba (Not sure which blend yet)

Tell me what you think or recommend some other stuff for me to research the next few days.

I would also look at the Liga Privada T52. If not then I would choose the Illusione on your list. Have fun!

The Mi Amor La Aroma Da Cubas are great smokes. Are you looking for full bodied smokes or milder ones? 601 blues are awesome smokes for around 100 bucks or so. Ever had Diesels? They are 100 bucks for 30 great smokes.

I like medium to full bodied. I am a huge fan of DPG spice bombs. I was looking at the Mi Amors. I might grab a single and try it before I go for a box. I have several 601s already. Never tried a Diesel though.

I am willing to spend up to 80 or 90 in addition to the gift card so.......

You can't lose with either the San Cristobal or the mk, those are my favorite sizes in those two lines.

Have fun!

The San Cristobals have that Pepin spice. Not a total spice bomb, but yummy just the same.

I'd mess ya all up and go anything from genberal I was given the opportunity to sample hoya da monterey's,Don Tomas's and La Gloria Cubana's and they are just yummy, then my favs - Joya de Nicaragua series Antanos, dark corojos , then AVO'S or Kristoffs, well you get the point man I'd hate to half to figure what I'd spend $100 on i'd spend and still feel I didn't get what I could of got then they'd throw a deal a week later and I'll go dang. Good luck. Do you get a catalog that may help you get more for your $$ or what you wouldn't normally get. But yoiur few selects there sound great , great humi stuffers.

OK. I think I am going to grab a box of DPG Blue Demitase and a San Cristobal Assortment Sampler. I will probably grab a few singles too.

I say I am sticking to this but I will probably change my mind five times before this weekend.

If you are going to the CI superstore, stop in their blend lab and pick up a stick or two. It is an interesting concept and you just might find some new combinations of wrappers, fillers and binders that you enjoy without worrying about who made the cigar.

Take some food and drink with you to the Mothership.
A 6-pack and a cheese steak to go with your San Cristobal.
Doesn't get any better than that! I always forget, and end
up at McD's down the street. meh.
