So I have admittedly have some poor luck with rescues......but when the "Dog Day" friend came in with a boxer he had rescued(divorce) from his brother, I just couldn't resist.... I REALLY hope it works out.....

So meet Chopper....

Kane feels like he had his Toews.....

well your doing good so far,he looks happy. Look he's even sticking his tongue out at you and is letting you take a picture and letting the kids near him.

Congrats EJ. I've had several rescue dogs in my life, and it makes me feel better to know that they are having a second chance at a great life with me and my family. When our Dane (Dudley) goes, we will likely get another rescued Dane.

Chopper looks happy, and so does the girl! Rescue dogs seem to know that they have a new life with someone that wants them and loves them.
I have never met a boxer I didn't like. Years ago, I got a rescue boxer and gave her 5 or 6 more years than she ever would have had. Tess was a great dog, escape artist, and runner, but would talk to me all day, hums, moans, faux growls and some very elaborate vocalizations. I would have another in a heartbeat if I could.

Congratulations on your new family member!!! Also, for rescuing Chopper! He looks like he is a big boy, but sure he is a sweetheart. I have a 6mt old boxer, Duke, and they make great companions. Like Pete said, They do like to talk

My last Boxer would tell me "I love you", and other various dog codes!
