Default Atlantic Cigar rocks my house! (again)

Posted this as a reply to a thread but figured it would get lost in the shuffle...

As a Canuck I cannot say enuff good things about Paul and the guys at Atlantic! Here's my latest haul (although the lighters and Palio are from a previous order a week ago where I also bought a box of EP Carrillios which are not shown)

I am home recovering from shoulder surgery and bored to Hell so I find myself picking up the phone and calling Paul from Atlantic ever couple weeks. We talk cigars and he suggests new things for me to try. This is the 10th or 11th time I've ordered from them and always the best in product, price and service!

I was hoping to get a lot more Padron Exclusivos but he only had the 4 singles left. I simply said send me a nice mixed bag of tricks but be sure to include a few Alec Bradleys (a brand I am really starting to enjoy) some Don Pepin Blue and Cigar show sampler Version 1.0

He put together almost 40 of my faves and many I have yet to try.

XIKAR HC SERIES CHURCHILL COLORADO (7x48)
ALEC BRADLEY SCR CHURCHILL (7x48)
ROOM 101 By Camacho 323 TORO (6x50)
QUESADA 35 ANIVERSARIO LTD (6x49)
GRAN HABANO 3 SLS SALOMONES LTD (6.75 X 64)
LA FLOR DOMINICANA LTD HABANO PERFECTO (5.62x54)
PINAR DEL RIO CLASSICO ROBUSTO (5x50)
LA AROMA DE CUBA NEW BLEND ROBUSTO (5x54)
CASA FERNANDEZ ROBUSTO (4.25x52)
CUBAO MADURO ROTHCHILD NO. 4 (4.87x50)

The top-right group of 10 are a sampler from the 2009 IPCPR. It's the 3rd time I've bought this particular ampler from Atlantic... all 10 are great smokes and for a tad over $50 you can't go wrong. (the Gran Habano 3 SLS Salomones alone tastes like a $25 cigar) They ALL rock! They have a second version (they call it version 2.0) that is also excellent (I've ordered it twice)

Lighters are a Montecristo with red Romeo y Julieta design (dual flame, weighs a ton and has the same feel as an ST Dupont) the La Gloria is a no name but very good quality for the money (both have that distinct "ping")

Hate to sound like their poster-boy but this is a great hassle-free source for smokers North of the 49th parallel. Subscribe to their newsletter and get the inside scoop on their new arrivals and killer sales. The have a bunch more Padrons coming in for the 4th of July so I better put them on speed-dial.

Giddy-up!

Looking fwd to the Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojos (pic 3 far right) They have one of the darkest wrappers I’ve seen. The Dark Corojo is a Nicaraguan puro containing 75% ligero tobacco. The Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo’s wrapper is specifically from the Jalapa Valley of Nicaragua. Gorgeous construction.

The Antano Dark is on my list to try as well. I have smoked a few of the Antano 1970s and really really liked them. To be honest I haven't really tried anything from JdN that I haven't liked

You might also want to try that Macanudo Portofino. Inhale-able...
I guess they must write "Donations for the Sisters of Mercy Convent c/o Wayne" on the box, huh?
Skirt the authorities?

Nice selection. Atlantic used to have incredible prices on JdN Antanos.

I'll jump on board and say that every experience I've ever had with the good folks at Atlantic has been positive. I'm about to complain about another company on another post, but wanted to be positive first.
