Default Need some recommendations..

To start off, I booked a 6 day cruise down to the western Caribbean in January. Going with me will be my gf of about 7 years, and I plan on proposing to her during this trip. What I need from you guys is some recommendations on two things.

1)Some fantastic NC sticks that I can buy beforehand that will help me celebrate this occasion correctly.

2)Some good cubans to get my hands on while in down in Grand Caymen and/or Jamaica. I know GC has a La Casa Del Habana in which I'm planning on going to, but I have only had a couple different Cubans before and am looking for recommendations.

Thanks all!

I suppose I should say what I enjoy as well. I am a big fan of Ashton VSGs, Montecristos, Padron thousand series, RyJs. As for those Recs... I have a PAM in my humi and Ive never had a bad RP or Oliva

And I have no doubt in my mind that she will say yes.

PAM 64 - Just a smooth and rich cigar - can't go wrong with it.

1). PAM 64

2). Partagas 898v's, Monte # 2, Bolivar PCs and gold medals are smoking really well right now. Also if you have the money the Cohiba Pyramides or Monte Sublimes are stellar and can't wait to get more age on these.

I think that I'm one of the very few who doesn't like PAMs around here. For NCs I would go with something from Pete or Dion: tatuaje, cabiguan, or cruzado especially.

For CCs I would try and keep an eye out for bolivar gold medals. Not only do they smoke extremely well but they look purty.

Keep a close eye out there for fakes. I was in costa rica this winter and they were freaking everywhere. Glass topped esplendido boxes as far as they eye could see lol. Just buy from a La Casa Del Habano and you'll be fine, pretty much anywhere else is suspect.
