Default New Guy and My First Humidor

I had a post on CS but since this will be my new home i figured i should write something up here also.

I got started into cigars about a month ago, first 2 cigars i had were helix. I thought they were ok for never smoking anything before. After that experience i thought this might be a hobby i would be interested in. I found the CS forum on the internet and read for a few days before i signed up and that is when i started the slide!

Last week I purchased the Capri humidor from cheaphumidors.com, got some 65% heartfelt beads and a hygrometer from Wal-mart. I placed my first order at CI (5 pack of 5 vegas golds). So far so good!

Awwww.... what a cute lil humi!!!

I remember when I started with one about that same size. A year later and I'm up to two plus a tupper-idor. It's bananas.

Enjoy the evolution. The slope is slick and the sticks are delicious.

Good start...my first humi was a 10 count. I filled it up in less than a week, bought a 150 count, filled that up in less than a month and then just pulled out the cooler. That was almost full in about 3 months. Welcome to the slope, enjoy the ride

Nice little humi. Everyone's gotta start somewhere, right? My first was a travel case, I still look at it once in a while and just smile. It's amazing how far I've fallen since.
