Default Butane Torches

Hey all . . .

When it comes to lighting my cigars, I prefer to use a butane torch because I take a good amount of time toasting the foot and gertting a nice ring of fire going before I actually start taking some draws off of it. I've been using some decent torches so far, but they're a little short on longevity and burn strength. I read somewhere that you need to "bleed" the excess gas out of the torch before refueling it and while that does seem to work in restoring it to its original burn, the butane still doesn't last very long. I'm assuming that I'm just using some low-end torches and should probably bite the bullet and upgrade to something more reliable. I'm curious if anyone here has some suggestions? I used one at the lounge the other day that looked like a minature oil can that had a spool on it you had to turn "on" before igniting it - and while it burned magnificently, it also looked like it just consumed butane like a Hummer does gas! I think I'm looking for something more portable!
